Some don't believe in miracles.
The say, "What happens is by chance"
They rush through God's creation,
Without a passing glance.
But for those that look and listen
throughout each precious day
The will find the tracks of Angels as they move along their way! -Andie Hellem

-And as I prayed, Gabriel, who I had seen in a vision, flew to me, and said, I have come to help you and to give you insight into Gods plan.... for He loves you dearly. -Daniel 9:21

-And I saw seraphim flying over the throne of the Lord, each one calling out to another saying, "Holy, holy, holy..." -Isaiah 6:3

-Faith doesn't get you around problems, its takes you through them. -Sighn on a church

The wings I see
Are tinged with gold
Time is endless
Or so I'm told
Feathery white
In my heart
I know you care
Over your shoulder
here we are
Staying close
Never far
Wrap me up
Envelope me
I need you Angel
Can't you see?
Shield me now
Withing your wing
Songs of joy
We'll always sing
Hold me tight
And take me high
You belong to me
In my sky
Protect
And love
And nurture me
I need you Angel
Can't you see?
-John Cameron

I highly recommend this book!! It is an awesome read of people's testimonials of Angels they have seen! xoxo

Don't Drink and Drive!!

The author is unkown on this, however I thought it would be appropriate for the season!!

I went to a party, Mom, and remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom, so i had a Sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself, the way you said I would.
That I didn't drink and drive, though some friends said I should.
I made a healthy choice, and your advice to me was right.
As the party finally ended, the kids drove out of sight.
I got into my car, sure to get home in one piece.
I never knew what was coming, Mom, something I expected least!
Now I'm lying on the pavement, and hear the policemen say, "the kid that caused the wreck was drunk." Mom, his voice seems so far away.
My own blood's all around me, as I try hard not to cry.
I can hear the paramedic say, "This girl is going to die."
I'm sure the guy had no idea, while he was flying high,
because he chose to drink and drive, now I would have to die.
So why do people do it, Mom. Tell Daddy to be brave, Tell sister not to be afarid, Mom.
And when I go to heaven, put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have taught him that it's wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his parents had, I'd still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mom, I'm getting really scared.
These are my final moments, and I'm so unprepared.
I wish that you could hold me, Mom, as I lie here and die.
I wish I could say "I love you", Mom, so I love you and goodbye.

"Little"

This is a poem I wrote in high school!

Cold, hungry, and homeless, she lay in the snow.
Her little hands turned purple, and her little nose froze.
With her big green eyes and her tiny little feet.
She lay there with nothing to eat.
She no longer has a mother or a father to call her own.
She has no one to hold her but her little old crib.
All the belongs to her is a little note that says....
"Please take care of her, for we have little to give."

"Father of all Fathers"

The father of all fathers.
Forever forgiving.
Exalted on all high.
Created in his image, excepting of all.
He died for our sins, so that we could live.
The most loving of all.
He can be your father too, all you have to do is ask.
We cannot be perfect, but we can try.
Of all the books I want my name to be in, it is the book of life.
His angels protect and watch over our lives.
My God, My father, I give to you my all!

"My One and only"

To have found the mad God made for me I thought was an impossible feat.
Soul mates were only a dream.
The perfect man that knows me better then i know myself.
Unconditional love I have never known, but amazingly he loves me for me.
The good, bad, and the ugly.
My very own knight in shinning armor, a true hero that came to my rescue.
God truly blessed me with the man of my dreams.
I feel like an eagle soaring blissfully in love.
Unstoppable and untouchable.
I would follow him to the end of the earth.
My one true love, my one and only.
And no one can take that away from me.

"My angel" for Tara

THIS POEM IS FOR MY BESSTER!! WE HAVE NEVER MET, BUT WE ARE TWO PEA'S IN A POD!! WE BOTH HAVE MS AND HAVE HELPED EACH OTHER THROUGH THE ROUGH TIMES!! SHE IS MY TWINKY!! AND I LOVE HER WITH ALL OF MY HEART!! MY SISTER, MY BEST FRIEND!

God sent me a special person, to help me in my time of need.
Someone just like me.
Someone that fully understands me.
She feels what I feel and lives what I live.
She is truly and inspiration.
God sent me an angel, with a heart of gold.
A diamond in the rough, pure as the winter's snow.
Although I have only know her for such a brief amount of time, it is as if we have known each other since we took our first breath.
With all of her obstacles, she stands firm.
She is contagious with her goofy and quirky personality.
T: Tremendous
A: Ambitious
R: Rewarding
A: Angelic
When my body, mind, and spirit are down, she has her own special way of picking me up again.
I thank God for bringing her to me, how lucky I am.
Together we would be unstoppable.
We are in this together and together we will stand!

"Invisibility"

Day to to day I lie around and wonder why.
Was I chosen?
Or could it be a curse that my body should be in such chaos.
For some reason my body thought I would make a great host.
The pain is unreal.
The fatigue is like a boulder on my head, making me powerless.
MS, the disease that attacks your very own body.
So hard for people to understand.
Because our outer shells are so unexposed.
Most days you must look at us and think we look fine.
When truth be told you could never truly understand.
Our faces, our bodies we keep disguised.
Please don't pity us, that is not what we want or need.
We only ask to be understood.
Support more then anything.
To the special people that are our rocks, we love and appreciate oh so much.
The pain you must go through, looking from the outside in.
You must feel as helpless as a newborn babe.
Kudos to you and much gratitude, we could not do this without you.
We have nothing to prove.
We are who we are, miraculous human beings.

"Just live"

So much we take for granted.
So much that passes us by.
So much that God has given us, but we are to blind to see.
We are to busy to open our eyes and see the portrait God has painted for us.
A simple dandy lion, so beautiful, yet we call it a weed.
The subtle changes of the fall leaves.
A butterfly with such extravagant colors.
The cool spring breeze.
The warmth from the sun in the summer.
The Innocent laughter of children, if only we could see as they see.
The powdery, white blanket of snow in the winter.
So much beauty and wonder if only we weren't blinded.
We might could see the magnificent, rich colors that God has painted.
The smell of honeysuckles.
The sound of the crash of the ocean waves.
The feel of the sand under our feet.
Life is just to much of a whirlwind for us to notice.
If only we could slow down and just breathe.
Otherwise before we know it our journey on earth will have passed us by.

"A sick world"

Sleepless nights.
A tormented soul.
For a life I never lived.
The consequences of others lay heavy in my heart and head.
A doomed soul no doubt.
To quit literally have the weight of the world on your shoulders.
What have we become?
A loveless society is the fate we meet.
To see a homeless man on the streets and not even blink.
To wage war and not even mourn the dead.
To throw away our elderly and not even give up our seat.
A hateful and pitiful world we have become.
Our children killing children.
When you take God out of your country then hell will be under your feet.
Why have a lover when you can have multiple lovers.
As far as STD's, don't worry they have a pill that will suppress your new found disease.
Population control at it's finest.
Our world is in crisis, our demise we will soon meet.

"Searching"

An endless search we all find ourselves in.
In every corner we try to find what will make us happy and whole.
Some go to the end of the earth searching and searching hopelessly.
We turn to God, we turn to one another, we turn to love.
We turn to money, hoping this will make us happy.
Can't money buy happiness?
But we all come up empty .
We pray for health.
We pray for wealth.
But to truly find happiness we must look within.
Unless you are happy with you, you will never find true peace or truly be happy with the way God made you.
Unique and one of a kind, that is your key to happiness.
Look deep into your soul, and your relentless search will be over.

"Damaged Goods"

A look into my past is a place where one dare not be.
Doors in my mind that should remain closed.
A psychopath, sociopath, bipolar at the least.
A place I dare not go, only in my dreams.
The coldness, the crudeness, the brutality, the sheer abuse.
As I drift into my dreams I see her as if she were a demon floating towards me in anger.
She is coming for me and I have nowhere to go.
Her fist are like a hammer.
I can feel her fingers strangling my neck as I am pinned to the wall.
Please, someone help me, I can't breathe.
I try to wake up, but find myself in a dark room.
Where am I? I can't see!
I am suffocating, oh God please help me.
Panic, fear, I have to calm down so I can think.
It's the cellar, a common place where she finds some kind of sick satisfaction.
Out of sight, out of mind, isolation, lock down.
I pray out to God to save me.
She says there are snakes down here.
So I close my eyes and clear my head.
I open my eyes and find myself free.
Another day I am awake.
I am grown, I am strong, I am a survivor, and I am victorious!
Only now a prisoner in my dreams.

"My Grandmother"

To have lived a lifetime.
The things she must have seen.
32,823 Sunsets.
The countless births and the countless deaths.
Life recycled....
All the laughter and all the tears.
All the hard times in the lines in her face.
Breaking her back picking cotton.
Waiting hand and foot for every one she ever met.
Cooking daily for countless people.
Never faulting, always with a smile on her face.
Of all her 89 years, never speaking ill of anyone.
She was a mother, a best friend, a confidant.
The best person I will ever of had the pleasure to know.
What a loss we have suffered, and heaven has gained.
I know she will be waiting for me, radiating with a smile on her face.
Until then my sweet grandmother, wait for me.

"My Grandmother"

"Battle of the wills"

Fornication.
Temporary satisfaction.
A brusied soul and restless nights.
Misinformed. A fantasy that does not exist.
Seduction, seems as sweet as a midnight summer breeze.
Free will both a gift and a curse.
Only moments of pleasure and lifetime of pain.
Faithfulness, such a fruitful word.
Yet so commonly meaningless.
Always coming up short.
Continually searching for that person that makes you whole.
But deep down you know satisfaction will never come.
Not for you, a free spirit.
It's the way of the world.
This is what we do.
Then why the guilt and the everlasting internal struggle?
Say a prayer for me.
Say a prayer for our world.

Annihilation

Erased, polised, and cleaned.
My head in a fog.
Don't bother telling me your name, I will meet you again tomorrow.
Maybe even wear a name-tag and we can skip the reindtroductions entirely.
Completely and utterly annhilated.
My husband get a new wife daily.
And at least the pain I forget.
I do hate the blank stares when a word is washed away.
Stupidity is a game I do no like to play.
What a fool I sometimes feel, makes me feel ashamed.
I am just one of the many, swimming in a sea of forgetfulness.
Thank God, expression I still get to keep.
